We want to encourage you to continue lifting up prayers for this region of the world. God is deeply involved with what is happening in these countries.  God tells us that Israel is “the apple of His eye” (Zech 2:8). Syria is actually included in the land that God gave to Israel through Abraham (Gen. 15:18).  God is committed to transforming this region of the world to show His glory. If we keep it in mind that God is using all world events to save souls (Haggai 2:6-7) and turn Israel back to Himself (Rom 11:25-27), it aids us to stand in agreement with Him in prayer.

For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations [Jesus], and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. (Haggai 2:6-7)

Let’s keep praying for the tide of darkness to be pushed back and for the gospel to go forth in this region like never before.
